The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through IsO technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been established has the right to be and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. IsO collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization. Draft International Standards adopted by the technical committees are circulated to the member bodies for voting. Publication as an International Standard requires approval by at least 75 % of the member bodies casting a vote. International Standard ISO 4119 was prepared by Technical Committee ISO/Tc 6, Paper, board and pulps, Subcommittee SC 5, Test methods and quality specifications forpulp. This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition (IO 4119:1978), of which it constitutes a technical revision. C ISO1995 All rights reserved. It is used in laboratory procedures for retained. the determination of other pulp properties and is referred to in a range of other isO standards where 3.4 Means for drying the sample, for example pulp suspensions are involved. It isnot intendedfor suitable drying oven or hotplate. The temperature of determining the saleable mass of slush pulps. the drying oven shall be 105 ℃C ± 2 C and that of the hotplate 150℃±15℃. In principle, this method is applicabie to all kinds of aqueouspulpsuspensions.
