It does not apply to thimbles for use with fibre ropes. Galvanizing Reeving thimbles and solid thimbles are not included. Unless otherwise specified, thimbles shall be galvanized with a zinc coating of at least 120 g/m2 in accordance with ISO 1461. 2 References IsO 630, Structural steels.
